Shipoke is a historic neighborhood in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, located along the Susquehanna River. It was the site of the original Harris Ferry and Tavern, which gave rise to the name Harrisburg. Shipoke has a diverse and eclectic population of about 400 residents, living in 200 dwellings, mostly Victorian houses.

Shipoke has faced several challenges over the years, such as flooding, fires, and urban decay, but it has also undergone restoration and revitalization efforts. Shipoke is known for its scenic river views and its annual festivals in Riverfront Park.
